Yes, but we make fun of them a lot.

How do I join?

Attend at least two consecutive meetings.  During the first meeting, find someone who is willing to nominate you.  Play it safe and find someone to second that nomination.  During the second meeting there will be a vote by attending members to decide if you should be let into the ski club.  If accepted, you must buy a round of drinks for everyone at the meeting, and pay a $10 lifetime membership fee.

Do I have to be Ukrainian to join?

No, but Ukrainian people have to like you.
